I’ve always had a passion for fitness and exercising. At age 7 I began swimming competitively year around and continued through my freshman year of college. I began running on the high school varsity track and cross country team as a 7th grader. When my husband and I found Strength & Conditioning in 2012, the same year I finished my degree in Occupational Therapy, I was thrilled to have an athletic outlet back in my day to day life. What was even better is that Strength & Conditioning is based on functional movements and fitness. My passion for therapy and functional fitness go hand-in-hand. I spend hours in therapy helping people to regain their functional abilities to care for themselves. What could be even better than that? Spending hours per day helping people stay functional and grow to be stronger and healthier individuals that will not become a patient in rehab.
